What has been the most unexpected beauty trend of 2016?
The most unexpected beauty trend to emerge this year is the extreme yet aesthetically interesting nail looks, which appeared on Instagram. The nail polish mountain – where multiple layers of lacquer are applied to nails - and "succulent fingertips" took over social media by storm. Bloggers are going to extremes to create unique, creative and eye-catching effects that grab attention.
