Fable & Mane, the holistic hair care brand rooted in Ayurveda, has announced Netflix star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as the global face of its 2026 campaign.
The Tamil-Canadian actress, known for her role in the streaming service’s hit series Never Have I Ever, will front the South Asian brand’s global campaign ‘Where All Rituals Begin: From Ancient Lands to Modern Hands’.
The campaign and partnership sets out to celebrate South Asian heritage, modern rituals and the next chapter of Fable & Mane.
“This partnership is something I am incredibly excited about,” Fable & Mane co-founder Akash Mehta told Cosmetics Business.
“We are launching with a very creative campaign that has been months in the making and honestly one of the most special experiences I have had on set.
“It feels timeless, like something people will still be watching, saving and revisiting years from now because of how meaningful it is.”
A partnership rooted in shared experiences
For actress Ramakrishnan, the partnership with Fable & Mane comes with a sense of homecoming.
“I feel like hair, as any good South Asian kid does, has always been a part of my childhood – my grandma chasing me down with her homemade oils and whatnot,” she told Cosmetics Business.
“As I have grown up, and I have had access to learn more about hair care, I have really grown to love it.
“Now, it is less my grandma chasing me down for hair oiling, and instead me going to her and asking her if she still can oil my hair, even though she has arthritis.”
Ramakrishnan noted how the Fable & Mane’s product range felt like she was reconnecting to her childhood hair routines.
