Faace to enter '2.0 era' after buyer saves embattled business from closure

Faace, the skin care brand founded by Jasmine Wicks-Stephens, has secured a buyer, ending years of uncertainty around the brand’s future after a deal to save the business collapsed last year.

Wicks-Stephens, who established the business in the UK in 2019, announced the news in a post made to her Substack Failings of a Female Founder.

The brand was designed to target everyday skin stresses caused by hormones, periods, tiredness, and sweat.

“Last week, when we (the shareholders, new owner and I) signed the agreements, I still did not believe that it would not all fall through. And it has not,” Wicks-Stephens wrote in the Substack post.

“My skin care brand, after years and years of heartbreak (sorry for the melodrama, but it is true), has sold

“To be completely upfront, this is not a lucrative deal for me.

“But it is about more than money. It is about tying a bow neatly around years of limbo and moving forward with my life.”
