The rise of home working during the UK Covid-19 lockdown could have “major consequences” for colour cosmetics – more than any other beauty category – due to a significant drop off in usage occasions.
Marketing research company Kantar expects to see 35 million fewer occasions to use cosmetics every week, while Britons work from home.
Matt Maxwell, Kantar's Consumer Insight Director, told Cosmetics Business: “During the three-week lockdown
