Plant extract producer Cosmetochem International has joined forces with Lipoid in a bid to develop and promote their raw materials further into the personal care industry.
The partnership, announced today, will see both companies drawing on the experience of the other in order to strengthen their client portfolio and to maximise their sales growth worldwide.
Likewise, the companies hope to boost their R&D performance by making use of the intensive knowledge in the development and production of botanical extracts and the activity from plants - a field in which Dr Herbert Rebmann of Lipoid has extensive experience.
Following the merger Dr Olaf Marks will become a member of the board of directors of Cosmetochem and Dr Herbert Rebmann will take over as ceo of Cosmetochem from 17 September this year.
