Ciaté London is celebrating 50 years of pop icon Smiley with the launch of its limited edition eyeshadow palette.
The collection sees the indie British beauty brand as the exclusive cosmetics partner for the brand licensing company’s anniversary.
Developed in partnership with Sarah Andelman, Creative Director at Colette and Swedish-French graffiti artist André Saraiva, the collaboration encapsulates Smiley's brand ethos of "take the time to smile".
Incorporating Saraiva’s signature Mr. A character, the six-pan eyeshadow palette features warm tones of brown and bronze.
“We are delighted to work again with Ciaté London on our 50th anniversary,” said Nicolas Loufrani, CEO of Smiley.
“We love the energy behind this brand and how they have been able to work with our studio to create a unique product interpretation.”
The collaboration is said to give consumers a ‘much needed dose of positivity’ and will launch alongside a social media marketing push.
“We are so proud to be selected as the exclusive cosmetics partners for the iconic Smiley brand’s 50th anniversary and to represent beauty in the 50 Years of Smiles line-up,” said the founder of Ciaté London, Charlotte Knight.
“It has brought about pure joy to revisit our collaboration to create this celebratory collectable palette, paying homage to 50 wonderful years of Smiles.”
Ciaté London first collaborated with the lifestyle brand in 2020 with its first SmileyWorld Collection.
The palette is adorned in pink and orange tie-dye packaging and is available to customers now at ciatelondon.com, Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters.
