British beauty brand Ciaté London has launched an eight-piece cosmetics collection in partnership with New York fashion legend Iris Apfel.
The Ciaté London X Iris Apfel Collaboration Collection marks Apfel's first beauty launch in the UK.
A lipstick in three shades, two eye shadow palettes and a nail wrap feature in the range, which are available on the brand’s D2C website with prices starting from £13.
International consumers can also purchase the collection on nordstrom.com.
Ciaté London said it was drawn to Apfel’s “infamously electric style” and “unsugar-coated, witty personality”.
“Iris Apfel is, undoubtedly, an absolute icon,” said Charlotte Knight, founder and CEO, Ciaté London.
“With a centuries’ worth of wisdom to share, Iris represents style, wit, and what the power of embracing individuality in beauty can do.
“This collection is a reminder that perspective and confidence can empower us to embrace ourselves.”
Apfel’s bold and eccentric clothing, oversized glasses and bright red lipstick have lent to her iconic image in the fashion world, and feature on the collection's packaging.
She is the latest to join the list of colourful personalities Ciaté London has collaborated with over the years.
Olivia Palermo, Miss Piggy, Christine Quinn and Edna Mode have all released collections in partnership with the British indie brand.
“For the creatives, the routine-lovers and the daredevils, this collection combines everything I have come to love about beauty over my 100 years,” said Apfel.
“I have worked hard with Charlotte and the team at Ciaté London on my new collection to ensure that every formulation has been designed with you in mind.
“I hope this collection acts as a reminder that to be truly yourself, is to be unstoppable.”
Apfel’s storied career has seen her working as textile artist, fashion stylist, interior designer and more recently as a model.
On 29 August 2022 she celebrated her 101st birthday at the The Hampton Synagogue Children’s Center in New York.
Ciaté London was founded by Knight in 2009, a celebrity nail artist turned global beauty boss.
