Lip oils have been leading the lip make-up category in 2022, leaving glosses with heavy, hair-clinging formulations stuck in the past.
Emerging in line with the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic – the latest iteration of the ‘no make-up make-up’ trend, characterised by glassy lips and dewy skin – lip oils have been trending since 2021, and in particular since Dior’s Addict Lip Glow Oil went viral on TikTok.
