Two Bondi Sands mineral sunscreens have been recalled in the UK over potential health risks.
Certain batches of the brand’s Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF50+ Body Lotion and Face Lotion have shown signs of separation and uneven texture, according to a recall notice issued by the UK’s Office for Product Safety and Standards.
If the ingredients are not properly mixed, the SPF rating may be variable and place consumers at risk of sunburn, the notice said.
Bondi Sands’s Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF50+ Body Lotion, which comes in a 120ml tube and has the barcode 810020173420, is one of the affected products.
The Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF50+ Face Lotion, which comes in a 60ml tube and has the barcode 810020173406, is also impacted.
Customers who have these products should stop using them immediately, according to the recall notice.
Bondi Sands said in November last year that it was working with UK authorities to recall the affected products after recalling them in Australia.
In a statement to Cosmetics Business, Bondi Sands said: "The safety and quality of our products are a top priority.
"We issued a recall notice in November 2025 for Bondi Sands Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF50+ Face and Body Lotions due to potential product separation.
"Customers should discontinue use of the product and return it for replacement or refund from their place of purchase.
