British Beauty Week (20 to 26 October) is back for 2025, shining a spotlight on the ‘future of beauty’ through virtual and in-person activations across the UK

The British Beauty Council has announced the full line-up for British Beauty Week, which is returning to the UK this October to highlight the growth, innovation and technology behind British beauty.

Running from 20 to 26 October, this year’s week-long activities take on the theme of ‘The Future of Beauty’, with sessions spotlighting artificial intelligence (AI)-powered innovations, new manufacturing techniques, sustainability, consumer trends and more.

The beauty industry is a key driver of the UK economy, delivering a total GDP contribution of £30.4bn in 2024 – a 9% increase on the previous year.

Last year’s British Beauty Week reached 52.4 million people across all media and physical activations, reported the British Beauty Council.

“We are bringing together the brightest thinkers from across the sector to spotlight the value of beauty for the socio-economic footprint of the UK,” British Beauty Council CEO Millie Kendall told Cosmetics Business.

“Brands and businesses will also be spotlighting the newest ingredients, formulations and innovations driving growth, and thus exports, reinforcing the UK's vital role on the global stage.”
