About VistanolTM GDHR-Pure
VistanolTM GDHR-Pure is 100% plant-derived oil which can be as alternative to both lanolin and dimethicone. Botanical origin ingredients are widely used as sustainable ingredient due to environmental considerations, but it is not easy to reproduce conventional cosmetics that have been developed using technology, knowledge, and superior ingredients using plant-derived ingredients. The company states: "We succeeded in developing multifunctional botanical oil this time."
Lanolin alternative
Lanolin has been used for a long time not only in cosmetics but also for medical purposes because it has excellent glossiness and emollient. On the other hand, lanolin is a natural oil of animal secreted by sheep’s sebaceous glands, so it has brown appearance and strong odour. VistanolTM GDHR-Pure can be used as an alternative to lanolin thanks to its lanolin-like glossiness and emollient with little colour and low odour.
Dimethicone alternative
Dimethicone is a useful material that can be used in a variety of applications because there are many different types, each of which exhibits a different texture. Growing demand for 100% naturally derived products has led to an increasing demand for dimethicone alternatives. VistanolTM GDHR-Pure can show dimethicone-like texture at lower use level in hair care application. It can improve smoothness, moisturising texture, and shiny appearance on hair.
