Vichy Laboratoires has appointed ‘Glucose Goddess’ Jessie Inchauspé brand ambassador.
The French biochemist and author will work with the L'Oréal-owned brand to make its science-led messaging more digestible for consumers.
The move towards making the science behind Vichy Laboratoires’ products more accessible comes as the brand expands its hair care line this year.
“I am proud to join the expert team at Vichy Laboratoires because we share a core value: making cutting-edge science accessible,” said Inchauspé in an Instagram post.
“They conduct one of a kind clinical studies and innovative medical research and, in both their products andcontent, want as many people as possible to have access to it.”\
Inchauspé began her career as a product lead at genetics start-up 23andMe and went on to create her @glucosegoddess Instagram account in 2019.
She released her first book, Glucose Revolution, in 2022 and later launched The Glucose Goddess Method in 2023.
Inchauspé will work alongside a roster of newly appointed brand ambassadors for Vichy Laboratoires, which include health professionals and aesthetics experts.
This includes Spanish pharmacist Álvaro Fernández; psychiatrist, therapist and researcher Dr Judith Joseph; and dermatologist Dr Luke Maxfield.
Vichy Laboratoires said the new community of health professionals and experts will share “information and integrative solutions to help boost health”.
