The UK aerosol filling sector posted a decline of 1% in 2016, after five consecutive years of growth.
More than 1.5 billion cans were filled by UK producers last year, according to BAMA, with 72% or 1.1 billion attributed to personal care products.
In the cosmetics and personal care sector, the colognes/perfumes sub-category registered the largest decline, down 10%.
