A new contender has entered the teen beauty arena, as Revolution Beauty becomes the latest brand to make a bid on the lucrative market segment.
The fast beauty retailer has launched Revolution Skin, which offers four collections tailored for younger and more sensitive skin.
It has been designed for Gen Alpha, Gen Z and their Millennial parents, with a price range from £8 to £10 that is focused on accessibility for consumers.
Yet, in a segment as competitive as teen beauty, with established rivals such as indu and Bubble taking up significant market share, why has Revolution Beauty made its move now?
It initially came down to the increased demand for skin care products among the retailer’s younger customers, Alison Hollingsworth, Revolution Beauty’s Chief Marketing Officer, told Cosmetics Business.
