Newly appointed Susan Harvey aims to strengthen the Canadian skin care brand’s position in the premium skin care market within the new role

Canadian skin care business Gatineau has named Susan Harvey as Managing Director, as the brand enters its next phase of growth.

Harvey will lead across brand, product, and commercial strategy to strengthen the company’s position in the premium skin care market.

“Her experience, leadership and deep understanding of premium skin care make her the ideal person to help unlock the significant opportunity ahead,” said Andrew Bagley Owner and CEO of Gatineau.

“Combined with the strength of the existing Gatineau team, this marks an exciting step forward for the brand.”

Harvey joins from British skin care brand Elemis, where she held several senior leadership roles for more than 13 years, most recently as UK General Manager.

Gatineau claimed her leadership style is “collaborative and empowering”, with a strong track record of building and developing “high-performing” teams.

“Joining the business at this stage is a real opportunity,” said Harvey.

“The brand has a special heritage, strong foundations and a clear right to win.

“My focus is on building on those strengths, bringing clarity to how we grow, and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional products and experiences for both consumers and our partners.

“I am very much looking forward to working alongside the team to shape the next chapter.”
