Tatcha, the Japanese skin care brand, has confirmed Diane Kim is set to join as CEO.
The Unilever-owned skin care brand will see Kim take the helm in February, confirmed by Unilever Prestige CEO Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson in a LinkedIn post.
She replaces Mary Yee, who stepped down from the role last year.
Gasco-Buisson wrote: “We are kicking off 2026 Unilever Prestige with the exciting news of the appointment of Diane Kim joining Tatcha as CEO, effective 9 February.
“Diane joins us with a wealth of experience in beauty and reflects our commitment to building on Tatcha’s distinctive heritage, while thoughtfully accelerating its next chapter of global growth.
“In Diane’s own words: ‘the opportunity for Tatcha now is refinement – not reinvention – as we unlock the brand’s next phase of global growth’.
“Working closely with founder Vicky Tsai and the entire Tatcha leadership team during this CEO transition has been inspiring and I’m looking forward to seeing Tatcha continue to thrive.”
Kim’s previous roles include time as Orveon Global’s Global Brand President, Laura Mecier, Bare Minerals, Buxom.
As well as an 18-year stint at the Estée Lauder Companies, where she served as Senior VP, Global Marketing, Digital, E-Commerce and Creative & Media.
