The new Netzsch-Condux ‘e-Jet System’ fluidised bed Jet Mill is said to provide high performance air-jet milling to a wider range of products, with reduced production, energy and investment costs.

The new system uses a patent-pending process that opens up new areas of use for superior air-jet milling, whilst cutting operating costs in existing applications. The company claims that the machine can save up to 30% in energy compared to traditional milling processes thanks to adapted grinding and process optimisation. Materials such as minerals and amorphous chemical products can be ground to superfine quality according to Netzsch-Condux.

Other advantages include final products free of oversized particles, steep particle size distribution and grinding with minimum contamination. The machine is distributed in the UK by Orthos as part of a co-operation agreement.
