From deodorants to shaving gel and body spray, aerosols have long been a mainstay of the beauty and personal care sector, providing effortless dispensing at the click of a button.
Where others have struggled, the sector has even weathered the Covid-19 storm, as data from The International Organization of Aluminum Aerosol Container Manufacturers (AEROBAL) revealed that the global production of aerosol cans declined only moderately in the first half of 2020.
Joe Tyrrell, Junior Product Manager at aerosol specialist Lindal Group, tells Cosmetics Business: “In the last ten years we have more than doubled in size and grown at a significantly faster rate than the overall market, which has propelled us into the leading position we enjoy today.”
