Space NK is strengthening its physical retail presence with the addition of three new stores and a major expansion of its Glasgow location.
The retailer has confirmed the opening of three new stores in 2025, with locations set for Bluewater Shopping Centre in April, and Chelmsford and Leicester’s Highcross shopping centre in June.
Alongside these new openings, the retailer will expand its existing Glasgow store, increasing the trading space from 1,400sqft to 2,125sqft by the end of March.
Charlie Evans, Head of Retail at Space NK, highlighted the importance of the Glasgow expansion.
“Glasgow is one of our longest-standing stores, and we are thrilled to be expanding. This will allow us to showcase more brands and better serve the growing demand we have seen in this location.”
Space NK says each new store will offer a curated selection of over 100 beauty brands, with a store design focused on customer experience, incorporating aesthetic textures, tones and lighting to create a space where customers can explore and test products with expert guidance.
Evans added: “We have an ambitious year ahead, with exciting plans to follow in the second half of 2025.
“This is just the start of bringing Space NK to more customers and making it easier for them to shop the best in beauty.”
Space NK has over 70 stores in the UK and the retailer has announced further plans to open stores in other locations planned for later on in the year.
In 2024 the company reported bumper sales, attributed to Gen Z shoppers, with under-25s found to be the fastest-growing category at 164% growth.
