French brand Sisley has launched two products for summer: Sunleÿa G.E (£158) and Phyto-Touche Illusion d’Été (£66.50).
Sunleÿa G.E is the 'new generation' of the brand's existing Sunleÿa sun care treatment. The 'age minimising' product is enriched with anti-ageing active ingredients and a new complex of UVA and UVB filters, for 'reinforced action against photo skin ageing', according to the brand. It is water-resistant and does not sting the eyes.
Dubbed G.E (G for the product's glycation content, which stiffens collagen and elastin fibres, and E for solar elastosis, which is responsible for the appearance of deep wrinkles), the product claims to preserve the skin's youth in the sun, fighting against dryness, dehydration and sun damage. Its texture is silky and matte, and it is available in SPF15 and 30.
Also new is Phyto-Touche Illusion d’Été - a gel-powder bronzer. The formula is light and buildable with a fine texture for a 'tailor-made', sun-kissed glow without overloading the skin. The formula is talc-free, to provide weightless colour without leaving the skin feeling powdery, while its smoothing complex of powders and spherical polymers helps to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, according to Sisley. Coated mica, a blend of silicone oils, a film-forming polymer and micronised pigments provide hold and colour adherence.
