S+S X-ray system gets an upgrade
Unlike most other X-ray detection systems, the Raycon has the X-ray source mounted under the conveyor to ensure that even products approaching the maximum height are fully scanned. The system is controlled using a built-in PC. This features an auto-train mode whereby the image processing system can be trained to recognise a good product by passing a perfect product sample through the machine to store a template in its memory. Finally, a range of input and output connections and an ethernet interface allow the Raycon to be integrated with existing and new production lines and control systems.
