Under the new agreement, Rhodia will market the range under the trade name Polycare. KCI has also announced it will increase its Korean manufacturing capacity in 2009, to cater for the increased demands from the partnership.

The polymers are said to offer transparency, wet and dry conditioning and a foamy texture and can be used in a variety of cosmetic and personal care products including shampoos, hair conditioners, shower gels, body washes, liquid soaps and make-up formulations. T

“With our expanded offer in conditioning, we are now in a position to propose one of the broadest ranges of solutions to conditioning needs and challenges faced by our customers,” commented Sébastien Méric, vp Rhodia Home & Personal Care Business.
