Refy conquered make-up, but can it crack skin care?

Refy has expanded its remit beyond cosmetics with its first-ever skin care line.

The viral UK make-up brand’s Refy Skin range comprises just two products – Face Cleanse (£24) and Face Sculpt (£38) – which claim to “simplify” consumers' beauty routines.

Refy was founded by influencer Jess Hunt and beauty entrepreneur Jenna Meek in 2020 and quickly rose in popularity on social media thanks to its viral brow gel Brow Sculpt and Blur Liner & Gloss.

The brand now has more than 274,000 followers on TikTok and 877,000 on Instagram.

Meek, co-founder and CEO of Refy, told Cosmetics Business that the move into skin care was “a natural step” for the make-up brand. 

“We have seen a great reception to our prep products within our current range, especially our primers. These have been very successful,” said Meek.
