Singer Ariana Grande’s r.e.m. Beauty has announced details of its upcoming collection ahead of the release of Wicked: For Good.
This is the second collaboration between the beauty brand and the film franchise, in which Grande stars as character Galinda opposite actor Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba.
R.e.m. Beauty’s Wicked: For Good collection covers eyeshadow palettes, lip glosses, blushes and beyond, and is set to be released on 1 October.
Unlike last year’s Wicked collaboration, which took inspiration from the lead characters with pink and green sets, this new line-up takes its inspiration from the world of Oz and its inhabitants.
The line-up includes Ozian Forest Eyeshadow Palette, filled with jewel tones and greens, in addition to a set of four metallic eyeliners.
Luxury Beautification Undereye Masks are formulated with hyaluronic acid and caffeine, with colourways inspired by Glinda’s bubble, Emerald City’s green and the Tin Man’s silver.
Cherry Blossom Blush Palette, available in pink and coral, each feature a matte, shimmer and melange finish inspired by Grande’s character’s signature cherry blossoms.
Also launching are Poppy Plumping Lip Glosses in three shades, and So Popular pH Adaptive Lip Oil, which colour-adapts to each individual wearer.
R.e.m Beauty was founded in 2021 by Grande, the singer and actress took back ownership from Forma Brands in 2023 following the parent company filing for bankruptcy.
The launch is just one collaboration of many to come in the run up to the film’s release, set for 21 November.
Last year, the first film led to a number of collaborations across beauty and beyond, with the likes of Lush, Dr Paw Paw, Shark Beauty and more creating ‘Wickedcore’ products to push alongside the film.
According to Launchmetrics, Grande’s colour cosmetics collaboration ahead of the first film generated an estimated US$15.5m.
