Press-on nails are an increasingly popular way of ensuring fingertips look tip top in 2025.

While the overall nail products sector in the mature UK and US markets dipped between 2022 and 2023 – according to Euromonitor International – the press-on nails category is primed for growth.

Grand View Research estimated that the global press-on nails market neared US$697m in 2023 and says it expects it to expand at a CAGR of 6.5% from 2024 to 2030. 

Predicted growth accompanies a spike in consumer interest, with Traackr reporting a 119% increase in ‘press-on nails’ social media video views.

Press-on nails are undoubtedly in the limelight, so why is everyone and their sister rushing to apply them? According to those in the know, there are multiple reasons for the format’s popularity.
