Sia, the Australian singer-songwriter, has received negative responses from fans on Twitter, after collaborating with cosmetics brand MAC.
The pop star will be releasing a Viva Glam red lipstick (£16.50) in January to raise funds for people living with or affected by HIV or AIDS.
Sia is publicly an animal lover and was praised on PETA’s blog when she confirmed she had become ‘fully vegan’ in 2014.
But the Estée Lauder-owned brand sells its products in China, where animal testing for cosmetics is required by law.
