Beauty brand Dermablend has been awarded PETA’s cruelty-free certification.
It joins fellow L'Oréal-owned brands IT Cosmetics, NYX Professional and Urban Decay, as well as Lush The Body Shop and which are also certified cruelty-free.
The brand is said to use more than 13 humane methods of testing for its cosmetics products.
“Joining PETA’s list of cruelty-free brands is a clear symbol of Dermablend Professional’s commitment to animal welfare and a world without animal testing,” said its General Manager Malena Higuera.
“People are looking for brands that align with their values and our goal is to empower our customers with the confidence and knowledge they need to make the best decisions for their beauty routines.”
The brand has also announced its entire product line will now be vegan-friendly.
PETA’s Company Liaison Amanda Nordstrom added: “PETA is thrilled to welcome Dermablend Professional to our Beauty Without Bunnies cruelty-free list.”
The brand’s product range includes make-up for face and body that is designed to suit problematic skin.
It offers foundations, concealers and powder products to help cover up redness, stretch marks, birthmarks, acne and dark spots.
