Twelve new shades created for A/W 2012

OPI have launched their A/W 2012 range of colours, the Germany Collection, which includes 12 new shades of nail lacquer and a set of four minis.

The collection includes a variety of colours from nudes to subtle metallics such as Berlin There Done That, a neutral taupe; Don’t Talk Bach to Me, a pistachio green-yellow; Every Month is Oktoberfest, a dark plum; and Deutsch You Want Me Baby?, a shimmering red-orange. The Ger-Minis set contains Don’t Pretzel My Buttons, a warm honey beige; Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!, a sultry olive; Unfor-greta-bly Blue, a shiny sapphire; and Suzi & the 7 Düsseldorfs, a shimmery purple.

Speaking at the launch, Suzi Weiss Fischmann, executive vice president and artistic director, who created and named the new lacquers, said her inspiration came from the fashion in Berlin. She explained that Germany was chosen as the collection’s theme because it is “the hottest country in Europe right now”.

Individual shades are £11 each, while the Ger-Minis set is £12.95.
