Weleda has announced Raphael Savalle as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Michael Brenner.

He also joins the Swiss natural brand’s Executive Board.

Prior to working with Weleda’s finance department as a consultant in recent months, Savalle spent the last 20 years in CFO roles at various international companies, including Unilever, Coty and Bauer Media Group.

“In our challenging economic times, securing the sound financial basis of our company is particularly important,” said Weleda’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Thomas Jorberg.

“We are therefore delighted to have found an experienced financial expert in Raphael Savalle as CFO.”

Outgoing CFO Brenner will leave Weleda for personal reasons on 31 December 2022.

He took on the mantle of CFO in 2014.

“We thank Michael Brenner for his dedication and work for Weleda over the past years, and are sorry to see him go,” said Jorberg.
