The digital image and idea pin-board now offers brands to launch catalogues and shopping adverts
Pinterest has announced its latest shopping features for brands.
The social media platform has introduced a ‘shop a brand’ feature, a new dedicated section from retailers to roll out beneath product pins.
Personalised shopping recommendations enables users to view in-stock ideas related to their style and what they have been saving.
Brands can now upload a full catalogue of products to Pinterest and organise their branded feed in order of product discoverability.
Marketers can now also use the digital company’s new Shopping Ads tool to promote campaign-related products.
“People come to Pinterest in a shopping mindset open to discovering products, which creates a great connection between 'Pinners' and businesses,” said the platform.
“Brands can [now] plug their products into new shopping spaces and have them seen by millions of people.”
