Paris jazz bars and London pubs inspire Diptyque’s Covent Garden retail space

Diptyque is giving a nod to the London pub and Parisian jazz bar with its revamped Covent Garden, UK, retail space.

At the centre of the store is a traditional pub-inspired tin top bar and high stools displaying the brand’s range of candles.

Behind the bar are diptyque’s home fragrances and scent bottles nestled between martini glasses, tumblers and vintage bottles.

To coincide with the new opening, Diptyque has revealed its lucky charm-themed Holiday collection, in collaboration with German illustrator and artist Olaf Hajek.

The store will also stock the brand’s full range of edts, edps, home fragrances, body care and seasonal launches.

Beyond the bar is a dedicated gifting area, inspired by apothecary cabinets with drawers containing the products.

Diptyque said it will launch a variety of personalisation services in-store.

To date, the French fragrance brand has six stores across the UK capital, including on London’s prestigious Westbourne Grove and Marylebone High St.
