Corpack has developed a wooden lipstick for French brand Melayci, which debuted with a lipstick collection My Blossom.

The brand was founded by Kelly Njiké to answer the need of representation for women of colour in the beauty industry, especially in France and worldwide.

The collection of five shades of lipstick colours, were created to highlight all types of skin tones.

The lipstick’s outer base and cap are made of ash wood from certified, European sustainable forestry. The natural wood, in a brown matte finish, contrasts with the shiny gold-colored metal ring, where the logo is embossed in the middle.

Since the wood grain is always different, every lipstick is unique.

“The elegant, prestigious, and unique packaging and the natural look of wood”, explains founder Kelly Njiké, “support the brand’s values: heritage, diversity, empowerment and beauty.”
