MAC Cosmetics has tapped six ‘self-expressive’ influencers to front its new Love Me product launch.

The ambassadors include body positivity activist, Amber Wagner; dancer, Harper Watters; musician, Maxine Ashley; singer-songwriter, Rina Sawayama; beauty influencer Frances O’Sullivan; and model, Halima Aden.

The 24-shade lipstick range is designed to suit every consumer’s skin tone and features three collections of eight colours from nudes to reds and purples.

Infused with lychee fruit extract and argan oil, the products are said to provide ‘long-term suppleness’ and ‘high-impact’ colour.

As part of the campaign, each influencer will take part in digital marketing for the new collection, and share their own ‘self-love’ stories.

Together the influencers have a combined Instagram following of 3.6 million.

“Love Me lips are the colours we have lust for - its single-swipe sex appeal plays a critical role in the lip of the season,” said MAC’s Director of Senior Artists, Chantel Miller.

Retailing at £17.50 each, the products will be available from 1 August from maccosmetics.co.uk and all MAC locations.
