From lightweighting, refills and bioplastics, all the way up to ‘naked’, there is a wealth of sustainable packaging concepts and materials available to brands looking to smash their environmental goals.

One solution that has proved especially popular, however, is the incorporation of recycled glass, pulp and plastics, with plastics having enjoyed a major uptick this year.

According to a November 2021 report by ResearchAndMarkets.com, the global plastics recycling market is forecast to reach US$47.3bn by 2026 at a CAGR of 6.1% over that period.
