Dior has partnered with luxury department store Harrods for a ‘takeover’ said to merge the English spirit with French refinement.
From 10 November to 3 January 2023, as part of The Fabulous World of Dior, the façade of Harrods’ Brompton Road store in London, UK will feature a Dior installation by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo.
This combines a compass rose, stars and flowers, developed to ‘guide’ visitors along the store’s 44 window displays.
Christmas window displays include scenery made of gingerbread; outfits designed by Dior creative lead Maria Grazia Chiuri for the Dior cruise 2023 line, alongside drawings by Ruffo; iconic Dior dresses reinterpreted using confectionery; and Dior lipsticks and fragrances appearing in exhibits like a forest of pine trees, or candy balloons.

The immersive experience continues with two ‘dream like’ pop-ups celebrating Monsieur Christian Dior’s love of Christmas and a speciality café.
As part of the collaboration, the LVMH-owned house has also brought to Harrods two spaces devoted to beauty.
The first showcases the brand’s couture fragrances from La Collection Privée Christian Dior.
This space traces the history of Dior through its signature compositions, such as Gris Dior, Ambre Nuit, Oud Ispahan and Bois d’Argent.
The other invites visitors to discover all about Dior’s make-up, skin care and perfumery.
