Service-driven beauty brand owner Hudson BLVD. (HBG) has acquired US nail art company Valley.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, is the first step for HBG into the nail category and will form its ‘fourth pillar’ after hair, skin and make-up.

Valley will join DreamDry, Pucker and Spruce & Bond as part of the HGB portfolio.

“We are thrilled to include Valley as a sister brand in our portfolio,” says Robin Moraetes, President of HBG.

“Valley was the first of its kind, introducing nail art to consumers before it was a trend. It’s where I went when I first moved to New York from LA.

"We see immediate opportunities to grow the Valley business by introducing the brand across our existing customer base and alongside the other brands in our portfolio.”

Valley operates in three location across New York City and will join HBG’s 'deconstructed salon' concept in Scarsdale, New York, later this month.

Founded in 2006 by Nina Werman, the company creates trend-focused nail art and offers a hair removal service.
