“Sustainability is not only our licence to operate in the future, it is even more an important element in creating added value for all stakeholders,” stated Clariant CEO Hariolf Kottman, who opened the inaugural Clariant Sustainability Dialog with his speech: 'The role of sustainability in value creation'. The event, held on 2 September in Frankfurt, Germany at the Swiss specialty chemical supplier's recently inaugurated Innovation Center, was created to generate “new ideas for collaboration and further development of the sustainability agenda in our sector”, according to Kottman.
