Beauty supplements have been growing in popularity for years, but what about beauty drinks? According to Technavio, the global beauty drinks market was worth $620m in 2014, but is expected to grow by 11.35% through to 2019, reaching $1,061.3m.
The trend for beauty drinks – typically an ingestible liquid that contains nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and collagen – is being spurred on by the concept of beauty from within, which has been welcomed by consumers in search of holistic, time-efficient ways to address their anti-ageing or skin care concerns.
