For its 2015 festive campaign Burberry is staying true to its roots by paying homage to a British cinematic classic, Billy Elliot, now in its 15th year.
The fashion, fragrance and beauty brand has released a three-minute film and series of behind-the-scenes stills that give a nod to the iconic opening scene in the hit film and musical Billy Elliot, when main character Billy jumps on his bed to the soundtrack of Cosmic Dancer by T. Rex.
The film opens with Romeo Beckham jumping on a bed, before other celebrity faces are introduced one by one flying mid-air. The all-British cast includes: Rosie Huntingon-Whiteley, Julie Walters, Naomi Campbell, Sir Elton John, James Corden, George Ezra, James Bay, Michelle Dockery and Toby Huntington-Whiteley.

All of the make-up modelled was created by Wendy Rowe, Burberry Make-up Artistic Consultant and features products from the Burberry Beauty range. In one of the stills (pictured above), Naomi Campbell is captured applying the brand’s Limited Edition Festive Gold Glow (£45) product.
Coinciding with the campaign’s launch is the unveiling of the full range of Burberry’s festive gifts in-store and on burberry.com, including products used to create the new Burberry Beauty make-up look.
