Pop singer Ariana Grande has released her second fragrance, Frankie. The limited edition scent is said to be gender-neutral and was created in partnership with her brother, TV host and YouTube personality, Frankie Grande.
Frankie has top notes of pink pepper, pear and apricot; a heart of cedar wood and wild orchid; and a base of sandalwood, musk and sugar crystals. The scent is packaged in a silver metallic-finished bottle, complete with a removable black pom pom.
The scent follows Grande’s debut, Ari, which launched in September last year. “Launching my debut fragrance Ari in 2015 was a dream come true. It was amazing to smell it on my fans while I was on tour and hear all about how much they love it!” Grande said. “I’m thrilled to kick off 2016 with a special limited edition fragrance, Frankie – a shared fragrance for all! My brother Frankie is my best friend. When we’re together we have the best time and can’t stop laughing. We thought, let’s change the game this Valentine’s Day and get everyone involved, created a fresh new scent that everyone can wear! I really love how it smells…it’s energetic, sexy and so addictive.”
Frankie Grande added: “I am beyond excited about our new fragrance Frankie! I absolutely love Ari and was thrilled with the idea of creating an original scent with my amazing sister, Ariana. We wanted to spice it up for Valentine’s Day and come out with a new fragrance for all.”
The scent is available now, currently retailing exclusively at Ulta ($49 for 1.7 fl. oz).
As well as having her own range of fragrances, Grande was also named as the new face of MAC’s Viva Glam campaign in October 2015. She launched a lipstick and lipgloss with all proceeds donated to HIV/AIDS charities.
