Hand and nail care is on the brink of something big.
It may have been one of beauty’s most overlooked categories – neglected in favour of facial skin care or hair care – but brands are now giving hand and nail care innovations a high-tech spin, as they recognise the potential that new clinically-driven, result-based products could bring to the space.
New performance-led hand care brand Habelo believes that the category is primed for significant innovation, and as such is designed to go beyond the surface-level hydration that hand creams typically provide to target deep concerns and with solutions for issues like thinning skin, fine lines and sun damage.
“Hands are one of the most exposed parts of our body and age faster than other areas, yet traditional skin care often overlooks them,” explains founder Whitney Clarke.
“With the rise of celebrity and influencer nail trends, there’s a heightened focus on hands, making now the perfect time for advanced solutions.
“Consumers are becoming more aware of how quickly hands show signs of ageing, and they’re seeking products that address both aesthetic and skin health concerns.”
