Lancôme has created its first-ever advisory board focused solely on longevity to help democratise cutting-edge longevity science advancements in beauty.
The L’Oréal-owned brand’s new Longevity MD Advisors Board comprises four certified doctors – from several distinctive medical fields focused on prevention-led care – to help transform complex longevity science into a high-performance daily ritual for consumers.
The aim is to encompass both a medical and societal approach to longevity thinking, helping Lancôme enter “a new realm of longevity recommendation and education”.
Lancôme’s Longevity MD Advisors Board includes four experts – Dr David Luu, Dr Tiffany Moon, Dr Gabrielle Lyon and Dr Amy Killen – with each advisor bringing a “critical pillar” to the discussion.
Vania Lacascade, Lancôme’s Global Brand President, told Cosmetics Business: “The inspiration was simple yet radical – medicine is undergoing its most significant revolution by shifting from reactive to proactive.
“For Lancôme, exploring this new scientific territory requires more than just product innovation; it requires robust clinical evaluation and expert guidance.
“The mission of this new Longevity MD Advisors Board goes beyond simple endorsement.
“It is a true alliance to bring the actual advancements of longevity medicine to the health and vitality of the skin.
“Through this board, we aim to democratise cutting-edge science and empower every woman to take control of her skin-ageing journey and master [her] own vitality.”
