EcoVadis is the world's largest ESG assessment platform, evaluating over 150,000 companies across 185 countries on their sustainability performance in environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Companies are rated as Platinum (top 1%), Gold (top 5%), Silver (top 15%), or Bronze (top 35%).
KCI has participated in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment since 2013 and received its first Platinum Medal in 2024. With this second consecutive Platinum award, KCI has solidified its position as a top 1% global ESG leader.
This year, KCI received high scores for its strengthened governance framework through the operation of an ESG Committee, expanded ESG training for employees, improved supply chain management through partner evaluations, increased use of eco-friendly raw materials, and efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

In addition, KCI continues to strengthen its ESG initiatives through certifications such as RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) for sustainable palm oil sourcing, ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System). The company also participates in major global sustainability initiatives, including the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and Responsible Care (RC). Since 2021, KCI has published annual Sustainability Reports, ensuring transparency in its ESG achievements.
