Vlogger Jaclyn Hill took to Twitter to confirm that she is due to bring out her first make-up range, Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics, much to the delight of her ever-growing fanbase.
The 25-year-old YouTube personality tweeted: “I’m overwhelmed right now by the support from you guys with my make-up line. Crying on the plane. It’s still months away though”.
The public first caught wind of Hill’s make-up line after an Instagram account was created on 6 December called jaclynhillcosmetics. The account has already amassed 22.8k followers despite being inactive. Hill later tweeted: “I was not expecting people to find out so soon about my make-up line. I still have a lot of work to do! Thank you so much!”
The collection will debut online with a line of lipsticks in February, according to Refinery29. In an interview with the website, Hill said that she had been working on the line for the past two years with money she has saved since she was 18, choosing not to seek help from investors. More products are slated to follow the lipstick launch, but details are being kept under wraps.
Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics appears to be a natural progression for the US-based social media star; she already has a wealth of experience having produced collaborations with Becca and Gerard Cosmetics. When Hill’s limited-edition Becca highlighter hit shelves earlier this month, it was said to have broken Sephora’s record for the most-bought product on its launch date.
