Beyoncé has shared an Instagram post teasing the potential release of her own hair care range.
The Grammy Award-winning singer shared a three-image carousel on the platform which hints that she could be launching a textured hair collection rooted in family and salon culture.
The first image is of the ‘Single Ladies’ singer sitting in front of a mirror with a mane full of natural curls.
Her dressing table is lined with what looks like an array of tester product bottles.
The second image is of a younger Beyoncé with side-swept cornrows, sitting in a hair salon chair.
The third image is a statement, which said: “How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?
“Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done.
“I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.
“I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls.
“I watched her heal and be of service to so many women.
“Having learned so much on my hair journey, I have always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.
“I can not wait for you to experience what I have been creating.”
Several celebrity ranges have launched into the market focused on delivering high-quality products for textured hair.
Sister Sister actress Tia Mowry unveiled her natural hair care range that ‘celebrates’ curls earlier this year.
The 4U by Tia Mowry collection has been formulated specifically for 2A to 4C curly hair.
Actress and activist Tracee Ellis Ross, meanwhile, launched Pattern Beauty – a collection of products for curly, coily and tight-textured hair patterns.
Products include washes, treatments, styling tools and more.
Other celebrity hair care ranges focused on textured hair include Being Mary Jane actress Gabrielle Union’s Flawless and TV presenter Rochelle Humes’ kids collection, My Little Coco.
