Cosmetics manufacturer International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) has opened a site in the “historic cradle of perfumery” Grasse, France.
The New York-led company hopes the new location will “provide a space where perfumers and customers can freely collaborate outside of their usual environments with time to reflect, research, and explore”.
IFF has facilities in 35 countries, with the latest L’Atelier du Parfumeur named location open from 27 May.
The new Grasse office is located near the company’s IFF-LMR naturals site, which will enable perfumers to experiment with sustainable ingredients, and will be open to artists outside of the beauty industry to “ensure a constant flow of creative thinking”.
Nicolas Mirzayantz, Divisional CEO, Scent, for IFF said, “L’Atelier du Parfumeur – IFF presents a unique experience in the industry for visionaries and creatives that are interested in exploring and understanding our driving purpose of artistically designing fragrance.
“Every detail of the space was thoughtfully considered for its power to inspire and its connection with technical intelligence, craftsmanship, nature, heritage and modernity.”
L’Atelier du Parfumeur will also hold perfume-related events open to the public.
