Indu exits make-up to double down on skin care and international expansion

The teen focused beauty brand is dropping its colour cosmetics line to focus solely on skin care as the British brand goes international in 2026. Indu co-founder Aaron Chatterley reveals all to Cosmetics Business

Teen brand Indu is exiting make-up to focus wholly on its skin care business as it expands internationally.

The British beauty company made its debut in 2023 offering both skin care and make-up aimed at teenagers, created with their input.

However, the brand is selling through the last of its make-up products at a discount to clear stock, after taking the decision last year to focus on its best-performing category.

“We had in fact originally conceived Indu as a teen skin care brand, make-up was initially seen as a sensible add-on to that,” Indu co-founder and CEO Aaron Chatterley told Cosmetics Business.

“As we started to build the business though we quickly saw that the loyalty on our skin care is very high, whereas make-up is a very different story regardless of the brand.
