Power couple Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre Elba have confirmed the launch of their beauty line.
Introduced under S’able Labs – the duo’s lifestyle and wellness platform – the site will soon be the home of their genderless skin care range.
Hitting the market this summer, many of the ingredients are expected to come from Africa, where the couple intend to make a positive impact.
The Suicide Squad actor sparked rumours of a potential beauty line back in 2020.
A trademark filed by the 47-year-old’s le7 Holdings Limited company covered skus from skin care and make-up to fragrance products.
Separately, the duo have shifted the focus of their S’able Labs brand to wellness.
In keeping with their ‘coupledom’ theme, the duo is offering advisory and positive content via sablelabs.co.

“Like a lot of people, my interest in wellbeing piqued during the pandemic,” said Dhowre Elba.
“But the more I searched, the more trouble I had finding a resource that spoke to people who looked and felt like me.
“We think that self-care can only be fully realised through community care.”
Aimed at people from all walks of life, visitors can choose from topics on family, friends, self and the planet.
Elba added: “I want there to be a dialogue around looking after each other.
“How we look and feel actually feeds into how we maintain our partnerships.
“We’re all part of this world, so if we can help each other, that’s going to save a lot of lives and livelihoods.”
The duo’s podcast Coupledom is also available to download via the site.
