Hair care is booming in India. The category already had a large base in 2010 when it was worth INR82bn, but in the last five years hair care sales have more than doubled to INR176bn in 2015. And although the market bounced up by 14% in 2015, it is in fact now showing signs of increasing maturity, as according to Euromonitor International, this was lower than the 17% CAGR forecast for the 2010-2015 period.
