Gucci unveils Flora 1966 fragrance

Published: 12-Feb-2014

Gucci Flora 1966 is an exclusive scent inspired by the iconic motif Gucci created for Grace Kelly in that year.

The sheer floral chypre opens with top notes of bergamot and Bourbon pepper, leading to heart notes of peony and rose. Base notes of patchouli, vetiver and musks complete the scent.

The flacon is a taller, statelier incarnation of the original hexagonal Flora by Gucci bottle, revisited in opaque black lacquer with gold print.

The bottle is housed in a luxurious black silk pouch adorned with a ravishing version of the Flora motif in pink, yellow and green.

Gucci Flora 1966 is available at Harrods, Harrods.com and selected retailers.

RRP £130, P&G Prestige, gucci.com.
